These Terms and Conditions govern the enrolment of students at Advantage Education Sydney. By enrolling a student, the parent or guardian agrees to the terms set out below.
1. Enrolment
Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of a completed enrolment form and the applicable enrolment fee. A place is not guaranteed until enrolment has been formally accepted by Advantage Education Sydney.
Enrolment is subject to availability. Advantage Education Sydney reserves the right to decline or cancel an enrolment at its discretion.
2. Fees and Payment
Tuition fees are charged on a term-by-term basis and are due by the date specified on the invoice. Payment methods accepted include bank transfer and other methods as notified.
Fees must be paid in full before or at the commencement of each term. Advantage Education Sydney reserves the right to withhold access to classes if fees remain outstanding.
All fees are subject to change. Notice of any fee changes will be provided prior to the commencement of the relevant term.
3. Refunds and Cancellations
Refund requests must be submitted in writing. Refunds are not generally available for classes already attended. Partial refunds may be considered at the discretion of Advantage Education Sydney where a student withdraws mid-term due to documented illness or other exceptional circumstances.
Enrolment fees are non-refundable.
4. Class Attendance
Regular attendance is strongly encouraged to ensure continuity of learning. Parents and guardians are requested to notify Advantage Education Sydney in advance if a student is unable to attend a scheduled class.
Attendance records are maintained by Advantage Education Sydney and may be shared with parents and guardians on request.
5. Punctuality
Students are expected to arrive on time for all scheduled classes. Late arrivals may disrupt the learning environment for other students.
Where a student arrives significantly late, the class instructor reserves the right to determine whether the student may join the session in progress.
6. Catch-Up Classes
Catch-up classes may be available for students who miss a scheduled session. Availability of catch-up classes is subject to timetable and space constraints. Catch-up classes are not guaranteed and are provided at the discretion of Advantage Education Sydney.
7. Course Materials
All course materials provided by Advantage Education Sydney are for the exclusive use of enrolled students. Materials must not be reproduced, distributed or shared without prior written consent.
Students are responsible for bringing all required materials to each class as advised by their instructor.
8. Student Conduct
Students are expected to behave respectfully toward instructors, staff and other students at all times. Behaviour that is disruptive, disrespectful or unsafe will not be tolerated.
Advantage Education Sydney reserves the right to suspend or terminate the enrolment of any student whose conduct is deemed unacceptable, without liability for any refund of fees paid.
9. Health and Safety
Parents and guardians must inform Advantage Education Sydney of any relevant medical conditions, allergies or special needs prior to enrolment. This information will be kept confidential and used only to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the student.
Students who are unwell are not permitted to attend classes. In the event that a student becomes unwell during a class, parents or guardians will be contacted to arrange collection.
10. Mobile Phones and Electronic Devices
Mobile phones and personal electronic devices must be switched off or placed on silent during classes. Use of personal devices during class time is not permitted unless expressly authorised by the instructor for an educational purpose.
11. Photography and Video
Advantage Education Sydney may occasionally photograph or video-record activities at the centre for educational or promotional purposes, including use on the Advantage Education Sydney website and social media channels.
Parents and guardians who do not consent to their child being photographed or recorded should notify Advantage Education Sydney in writing at the time of enrolment or as soon as the objection arises. Advantage Education Sydney will respect all objections received in writing.
12. Communication
Advantage Education Sydney may communicate with parents and guardians by email, SMS or telephone regarding enrolment, timetable, fees, student progress and other relevant matters. By enrolling, parents and guardians consent to receiving such communications.
13. Privacy
Personal information collected during enrolment is handled in accordance with the Advantage Education Sydney Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy is available on our website and describes how personal information is collected, used and protected.
14. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Advantage Education Sydney excludes all liability for any loss or damage (including indirect or consequential loss) arising from enrolment in or attendance at classes, or from reliance on any information or materials provided.
Nothing in these terms excludes any guarantee, warranty, right or remedy that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
15. Intellectual Property
All course materials, worksheets, assessments, lesson plans and other educational content developed and provided by Advantage Education Sydney are the intellectual property of Advantage Education Sydney. These materials must not be copied, reproduced, shared or distributed without prior written authorisation.
16. Amendments to Terms
Advantage Education Sydney reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Notice of any material changes will be provided to enrolled families prior to the changes taking effect. Continued enrolment following notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
17. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising under these terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
